I grew up in Toppenish, Washington, a small town known as “City of Murals.” After Highschool graduation, I left for a couple of years to the beautiful Washington State University Campus, “GO COUGS.” Now, I reside in Yakima Washington and have been serving our Yakima Community in a variety of capacities. The positions that compose my employment and educational history have exposed me to many key facets of running and working in a healthy and prospering environment.

I have a passion for creating positive change in a child’s life and our community. Communities in Schools has allowed for this unique experience.

Outside of work, I love to experience new things with family. I enjoy watching my children grow and learn what it means to love, lead, believe and respect. I have an interest in motivational influencers and journaling. Lastly, I like to stay active, I am a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and hope to obtain my blackbelt in the future.
