Sahara Gaytan holds a BA in Sociology and Social Services from Central Washington University. She has spent 15 years working with youth in various school settings across the Lower Valley, serving as a case manager and coordinator. Sahara is deeply passionate about empowering and advocating for youth to help them achieve success in their futures. She is excited to be a part of the Communities In Schools team and looks forward to building strong relationships with the students and families at Granger Middle School.
Sahara has been married for 11 years and is a proud mother of two boys and a daughter, who keep the family busy with football, wrestling, and ballet. As a family, they love vacationing on warm beaches, with Disneyland being one of their favorite destinations.
