Berenice Loya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Washington State University (WSU). In her most recent role as a Family and Child Support Specialist with Catholic Charities, she provided direct service support in collaboration with her Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) team. Berenice has prior experience in educational settings and utilizes trauma-informed and behavioral therapy approaches to effectively support students and families. She is particularly passionate about maintaining a trauma-informed perspective in her work.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Berenice values spending quality time with her son. She also incorporates fidget tools into her daily routine, which she finds beneficial for her focus and engagement.
