Amayrane Gonzalez was born in Mexico but raised in the lower valley (specifically Wapato) since she was 5 years old. She graduated from Wapato High School and Washington State University with her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Human Development. After graduation from WSU, Amayrane began her career working as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor in Seattle for 2.5 years. She then moved back to her hometown and began her journey of working with mental health as a Rehab Case Manager for 2 years. Amayrane’s passion has always been to help others. She wanted a change in type of work she did, and began her journey with CIS in 2023. Amayrane is beyond excited to help students, families and continue building community partnerships. She is a girl mom to a 1-year-old and love to spend time with my family. She also enjoy going to the gym and reading dark romance and thriller books!
