Charlene was born in Yakima, Washington, and raised by her single mother as a first-generation Filipina. Throughout her childhood, she moved between various towns across Oregon and Washington before settling in Naches, WA, where she completed high school. Charlene began her academic journey at a local community college, earning an associate degree in Early Childhood Education. She later went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Child and Adolescent Development.
While pursuing her education, Charlene also built a life with her husband, and together they now have two wonderful boys, three dogs, and a cat. In her free time, Charlene loves spending quality moments with her family—whether playing in the yard, exploring the mountains, or enjoying trips to the coast.
