Edith Godinez grew up in the Yakima Valley and previously served as the CIS Student & Community Advocate at Stanton Academy. She is bilingual and possesses a diverse skill set and extensive experience in social services within Yakima, including roles at ESD 105 and OIC of Yakima. Edith is certified in youth mental health and first aid, demonstrating her commitment to the well-being of young people. She is passionate about the field of education and enjoys engaging with youth and families.
As a personal note, Edith enjoys dining at Wingstop and has a particular fondness for popcorn snacks. She is excited to rejoin the Communities In Schools team!
