Julio Santana is a Student and Community Advocate with Communities In Schools of Central Washington who previously served at Lewis & Clark Middle School in the Yakima school district. The pursuit of his educational expedition led him to his previous roles as an IT Technician and Systems Administrator. He took a chance on a different career path when joining the CIS team in order to pursue his passion of youth development work and uses his experience as a first-generation college student to give back to the Yakima community that saw him overcome countless obstacles and accomplish his dreams. He looks forward to providing the middle school youth he serves with the necessary resources to thrive.
Julio is a proud father of a beautiful 2-year-old girl and husband of an incredible woman who also proudly serves in the educational community. Julio is a diehard Los Angeles Lakers and Chargers fan and his favorite thing in the world is traveling with his family.
