Makayla Lopez is a dedicated community coordinator with a strong background in coordinating support initiatives for Safe Yakima Valley. In this role, she successfully collaborated with community partners and stakeholders, including school district leadership, local government, and law enforcement, to develop and implement project work plans. Makayla holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Seattle Pacific University and has extensive experience in family engagement coordination with the Oregon Department of Human Services.
In her personal time, Makayla enjoys the color burnt orange, has a fondness for Thai cuisine, and is often seen with a cup of coffee.
