Michelle is excited to join the CIS team and is ready to make a positive impact in the Harrah community. She is passionate about setting up students for success through social and emotional support, skill building, and career exploration. Her commitment to healthy youth development is what keeps her engine running strong! She understands that with the right support system, every child at Mt Adams Middle School can and will reach their fullest potential.

Michelle is a first-generation graduate and earned her degree in Biomedical Science from Heritage University. During college, she taught financial literacy through a summer camp program for middle school students. Additionally, she brings experience as a Career Development Counselor at People for People and as a coordinator of drug prevention coalitions and a mentoring program at Safe Yakima Valley. She is also a certified Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor. Her curiosity about the brain, body, and psychology, especially how we process thoughts and make decisions, drives her continuous learning. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, family and friends, and she’s often found with a hammer and paintbrush in hand as she tackles her home remodel project.
