Noelia is a Program Manager with Communities In Schools of Central Washington. Noelia was born and raised in Yakima, WA. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work and is in starting her second year in graduate level course work. Her background experience lies in TRIO and Upward Bound student support services and as a social work assistant for the Yakima Department of Children, Youth, and Families.
Noelia joined CIS because her personal values align with the CIS mission: support and empower students to stay in school and achieve in life. She wants to be the support person for students that she needed when growing up. Noelia has three dogs and four cats. She currently spends most of her time doing homework, visiting her sister out of town, or watching movies with her brother.
